Hello Dundee Community Gardeners,
A lot of plots are getting planted--very exciting to see the garden full of people again! Thanks to the Bread Oven and Blue Line for supplying the pastries and coffee at our workshop last Saturday. And a special thank you to the Bread Oven for showing up with sandwiches for a surprise lunch during last Saturday's spring groundbreaking! It was totally appreciated!
Our next work day will be this Saturday April 17 at 10 a.m. Come to work on your plot or to get started on some of your "community hours" on the community plots.
There's Oma-Grow at the garden for members to use on their plots. And if you have seeds you're willing to share, please plan to leave seed packets at the garden for others to use. (Does anyone have a water-proof container we can use to store seeds at the garden?)
Also, next board meeting will be Wed. April 21, 7 p.m. at the home of Deb and Curt Hickman, 1227 N. 53rd St. If you're interested in helping plan work days, garden events, etc., please join us!
Mary
